The National Council of Nonprofits announces the election of respected nonprofit leaders from across the country to its Board of Directors.
Beginning their first terms on the Board of Directors in 2022 are:
- Sheila Bravo, President and CEO, Delaware Alliance for Nonprofit Advancement
- Calvin J. Crosslin, Chief Diversity Officer, Lenovo, and President, Lenovo Foundation
- Elaine Ng, Chief Executive Officer, TSNE MissionWorks
- Caroline Altman Smith, Deputy Director, Education, The Kresge Foundation
Re-elected to a second term on the Board of Directors is:
- Laurie Wolf, President and CEO, The Foraker Group
These leaders bring their vast experiences and accomplishments in the worlds of business, philanthropy, and nonprofits to further bolster the National Council of Nonprofits’ efforts on behalf of the country’s 1.3 million nonprofits.
“Nonprofits are facing tremendous challenges right now and their work couldn’t be more important than at this moment,” said Marnie Taylor, President and CEO of the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits and Chair of the National Council of Nonprofits Board of Directors. “From promoting individual and public health and enriching lives through the arts to advancing social justice, nonprofits are part of the fabric of our economy and our communities. But the continuing pandemic and worsening workforce shortages are challenging nonprofits like never before. These five leaders bring not just a wealth of knowledge, but also a reputation for strengthening nonprofits’ ability to serve their communities.
